Hello SMB Deal Hunters!

Here are 5 new deals (or 10 if you’re a premium subscriber) for you that are worth checking out.

1/ Commercial Laundromat

📍 Location: Union County, NJ
💰 Asking Price: $4,000,000
💼 Cash Flow: $1,038,279
📊 Revenue: $2,387,997
📅 Established: 1993

💭 My 2 Cents: This (very profitable) business primarily services hotels and restaurants, but also dabbles in wash and fold and dry cleaning (and has a coin laundromat). I love the recurring revenue from the B2B clients and would focus on growing this area of the business through outbound sales and marketing, especially since they currently don’t do any marketing/advertising.

2/ E-Commerce with High Cashflow, Remote Owner, Fanatical Customer Base

📍 Location: Pennsylvania (Relocatable)
💰 Asking Price: $6,000,000
💼 Cash Flow: $1,969,316
📊 Revenue: $9,500,000
📅 Established: 2005

💭 My 2 Cents: This is an officially licensed apparel and accessory e-commerce retailer with a presence across multiple channels (DTC, Amazon, etc.). The business has served over 2 million customers since its inception 18 years ago. It would be interesting to understand their DTC/Amazon revenue breakdown, what their acquisition costs look like, and if they have a big organic marketing advantage from their long time in operation. Additionally, I’d be curious if moving to a 3PL could improve their overall margins.

3/ Highly Profitable & Long Established Liquors Bus.

📍 Location: Washington, DC
💰 Asking Price: $1,890,000
💼 Cash Flow: $514,331
📊 Revenue: $1,353,657
📅 Established: 1943

💭 My 2 Cents: This 80-year-old liquor store on a busy corner in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of DC runs on an impressive 37% net profit margin. The reason why liquor stores are here to stay is because shipping beverages (a la Amazon style) is absurdly expensive and laws often favor brick-and-mortar over other forms of distribution. And let’s just say the demand for alcohol isn’t going anywhere…

4/ Manufacturer & Seller of Professional-Quality Hair Styling Tools

📍 Location: Broward County, FL (Relocatable)
💰 Asking Price: $14,900,000
💼 Cash Flow: $2,628,023
📊 Revenue: $6,914,360
📅 Established: 2013

💭 My 2 Cents: This business runs on a unique business model that doesn’t rely on traditional e-Commerce or retail/wholesale channels for its primary sales channel. Instead, the business sells hair styling tools directly to professional hairstylists and stylists in training through cosmetology schools. With the overall employment of hairstylists projected to grow 11 percent from 2021 to 2031, I think this business is set up for silky-smooth success.

5/ Highly Profitable, Established Tutoring Business

📍 Location: San Diego, CA
💰 Asking Price: $3,500,000
💼 Cash Flow: $915,242
📊 Revenue: $1,418,115
📅 Established: 2013

💭 My 2 Cents: This 10-year-old academic tutoring business (think SAT test prep, AP test prep, etc.) is a very high-margin business that operates 75% online and 25% in-person. Their staff of 13 tutors is clearly high quality because all their customers come through referrals (and they’ve done zero advertising). I would leverage their reputation, existing results, and case studies to grow through advertising nationwide.
